Saturday, November 11 was Veterans Day and our nation recognized the honor and courage and sacrifices made by all who have served and who are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces: Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard both on active duty and in the National Guard and Reserves.
We recognized our veterans at our wreath laying ceremony at the World War II Memorial in Washington D.C. We then visited the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery and witnessed the Changing of the Honor Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers.
On Friday, November 10th, we looked ahead to Veterans Day by looking back at what service entailed in Vietnam and World War II

Every day is Veterans day because every day we have men and women on duty and in harms way serving in accordance with our highest values, serving to uphold our values and protect our freedom, and serving to make our world a better place.
